General travel conditions
Booking and Payments
- In most cases, it requires a 50% deposit of the travel price to reserve the safari, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- The balance of the safari must be paid no later than 30 days before departure and, in certain cases, up to 60 days before departure.
- If the balance payment is not made on time, Minga Adventures reserves the right to cancel the journey without a refund of the deposit.
- Payment should be made via bank transfer to Minga Adventures' bank account.
- For safaris where the price is quoted in USD, the exchange rate to DKK will be set on the invoicing date. In case of late payment, Minga Adventures reserves the right to adjust the rate/price if necessary.
Cancellation
If Minga Adventures is compelled to cancel a safari, the deposit will be refunded to the customer.
Upon booking, Minga Adventures pays our partners as soon as the deposit is received. In the event that the customer cancels the journey, the deposit is non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Flights
In most cases, it will be the customer's responsibility to book necessary international flights. Minga Adventures will provide advice on airlines and optimal flight times.
Insurance
Minga Adventures, in accordance with Danish Package Travel Act, is a member of the Travel Guarantee Fund, Registration Number 3472.
All clients will be covered by the Travel Guarantee Fund in the event of bankruptcy.
Minga Adventures encourages all travelers to take out cancellation insurance and travel/health insurance.
Travel with Firearms
It is Minga Adventures' responsibility to apply for firearm and ammunition import permits for the country of the booked journey. Minga Adventures cannot guarantee the approval of import permits.
It is the clients responsibility to provide all necessary firearm information, copies of permits, and passports well in advance.
It is the clients responsibility to ensure permission to travel and bring firearms from their home country and airline. Minga Adventures can provide guidance on necessary permits.
Minga Adventures holds no responsibility for luggage or firearms that do not reach their destination on time, go missing, or are damaged before, during, or after the journey.
Export and Import of trophies
Minga Adventures assists and advises on the export and necessary documents regarding trophies from the respective country you have traveled to. In most cases, there will be referrals to professional trophy exporters. The cost of exporting and shipping trophies is not included in the safari price.
It is the clients responsibility to ensure that the species hunted are legally importable into the clients home country.
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure import documentation in the customer's home country. It is recommended to use a trophy expediter to handle the import of trophies.
Depending on the destination country and species, exporting trophies may take between 6 and 12 months.
Responsibility and Reservation
Minga Adventures facilitates trips organized by foreign tour operators. Minga Adventures is not financially or legally responsible for changes or events caused by force majeure, war, disease, or other reasons beyond our control.
