Minga Adventures offers Tiger Fishing safaris on Lower Zambezi in Zambia at Kingfisher Lodge.
The Zambezi River, spanning 2500 km, is renowned as one of the best rivers in Africa for tiger fishing. There is a plethora of other fish species that can be caught as well, including the large Vundu catfish, Cornish Jack, Bottle Nose, and various Bream species.
King Fisher Lodge is situated at the southeastern end of Lower Zambezi National Park, offering the opportunity to observe many wildlife species while fishing. The lodge is located along the Zambezi River, providing a wonderful view of the river and mountains.
Fishing takes place from boats in the National Park, surrounded by exceptionally beautiful scenery.
The fishing season runs from April 1st to November 30th, with the prime time being from July to October.
Program and Price
We offer a 5-night stay at King Fisher Lodge with 4.5 days of fishing for 4-6 people. Two anglers with a guide on each boat. Options include fly fishing, bait fishing, and spinning.
Program
Day 1: Arrival in Lusaka with overnight stay in Lusaka.
Day 2: Early morning drive to King Fisher. Fishing in the afternoon.
Day 3-6 Fishing full days
Day 7: Packing up and driving back to Lusaka, departing by evening flight.
